The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
